You can find Malon in the stables, clutching a broom and afraid to leave the ranch out of fear that Ingo will mistreat the horses. To continue onward with the main quest, just to section 7.2. NOTE: This portion is actually optional as you don’t need Epona to complete your quest.
Head for Lon Lon Ranch in the center of the field. Out in Hyrule Field, it’s actually more calm, since there are no longer any Stalchildren or PeaHats.
